Children's Bunk Beds
If you're after bunk beds for kids that combine space-saving design with genuine durability, you've come to the right part of our children's beds. Our kids bunk beds start from £229 and are built by trusted names like Julian Bowen, Parisot, Stompa and Moderna, so every frame meets UK safety standards and is designed to handle years of climbing, jumping and everyday family life. From compact wooden frames to modern metal designs, there's a style and finish to suit every bedroom, budget and age group.
Sharing a room doesn't mean sacrificing space. Our bunk bed collection includes classic twin layouts, triple sleepers for sleepovers, and space-clever L-shaped designs, so siblings of different ages can each have a comfortable spot to call their own. If you need an extra bed only occasionally, several frames come with a pull-out trundle underneath, which tucks away completely when it isn't in use. Many models also pair well with our beds with storage, giving you drawers and shelving underneath to keep bedrooms tidy without adding extra furniture. If your child needs somewhere to study too, take a look at our beds with desks for a smart two-in-one solution.
Ceiling height matters as much as floor space. If the room is on the low side, or you'd simply rather your child slept closer to the ground, look for our low bunk beds — same twin layout, reduced overall height, and easier to make up in the morning. Not sure a bunk bed is right yet? Children under six are generally safest on a single or low-level bed, while our cabin beds and high sleeper beds offer a similar space-saving feel for solo sleepers of different ages. Once your child is old enough for the top bunk, usually from around age six, all of our bunk beds come with secure guard rails and a sturdy ladder or staircase, giving you extra peace of mind at bedtime.
We'd always recommend measuring the room carefully before you buy, as some configurations — triple sleepers especially — need more floor space than a standard twin layout. Every bed in the range is finished to a high standard, with a choice of colours and materials so it's easy to match existing furniture or start fresh, and our team is on hand if you'd like help picking the right size and style.

Children's Bunk Beds FAQs
Are Bunk Beds Safe?
Bunk beds are safe when they are correctly assembled, used as intended and fitted with the right mattress. Children under six should not sleep on the top bunk, though the lower bunk may still be suitable — check the manufacturer’s age guidance for your chosen bed. Every bunk bed we sell includes guard rails and a fixed ladder or staircase.
How Can I Make Bunk Beds Safer?
To make a bunk bed safer, use the mattress size and maximum depth specified by the manufacturer, check that all fittings are secure and make sure the ladder and guard rails are correctly fitted. Children should always use the ladder, and never jump or play on the top bunk.
What Size Mattress Does a Bunk Bed Need?
Most UK bunk beds take a standard single mattress, 90cm x 190cm, and the manufacturer will state a maximum mattress depth for the top bunk — usually around 15cm, so the guard rails still sit high enough to be effective. Always check the depth limit before buying, and see our mattresses for bunk beds for options that fit.
Do Bunk Beds Come With Storage?
Yes - several bunk beds in our range include built-in drawers, shelving or a pull-out trundle beneath the lower bunk, which is an efficient way to add storage to a shared room without extra furniture. You can browse everything with storage built in across our kids' beds with storage, or see our triple bunk beds if you need a third sleeping space.
