A kids single bed is one of the most versatile choices in our children's beds, and one that many children stick with right through primary school and into their teenage years. Single beds in our collection range from 200cm to 210cm in length, with exact dimensions listed clearly on each product page, and are generally best introduced between the ages of five and eight, once children no longer need the side guards found on lower beds. For younger children who still need that extra reassurance, our low sleeper beds or toddler beds may be a much more suitable stepping stone before moving up to a full single.

Can You Put a Toddler Into a Single Bed?
The best time to introduce a single bed to children is between the ages 5 and 8 as this is the most fitting age group as younger children need side guards to stop them from falling out of bed. although Some toddlers are able to switch into a single bed around 18 months, while others may not transition until they're 30 months or older. Any time between this is considered normal.
What Age Are Single Beds For?
A child's single bed is suitable for children aged 5 and above. A single bed is a great bed to consider for when your child is ready to say goodbye to their toddler bed. We would not recommend that any one under the aged of 5 be put in a single bed as there is a possibility that they could get injured climbing into / out of the bed.
